Climate change is a global challenge that is becoming increasingly apparent with each passing year. With buildings contributing 40% to carbon emissions, decarbonising the sector is critical to maintaining global warming below 1.5°c.
On November 9th, Space Group hosted their second annual _shift conference at Newcastle University's Henry Daysh building, drawing hundreds of in-person and online attendees. The conference brought together industry leaders and "empowered agents of change" to discuss strategies for decarbonising the built environment and beyond.
