Technical director at Mott MacDonald
Eszter Gulacsy is a technical director and team leader at Mott MacDonald, offering sustainability and net zero consultancy services to other Mott MacDonald’s offices and clients in the UK and internationally. She is also in charge of developing capability and promoting professional excellence for sustainability and climate change in the built environment sector and manages the company’s emerging circular economy initiative. A chartered engineer and Fellow of the Chartered Institution of Building Services Engineers, she is project director on several sustainability, Net Zero and other carbon projects.
Eszter brought industry-focused expertise and technical excellence to the floor. Speaking directly to an audience that included construction industry professionals, Eszter spoke of the necessity of systems-level thinking in relation to circular economy adoption. She spoke of learning from other industries and the need for greater transparency across the board so that we can each learn from one another, emphasising the need for collaboration.
