Nicky comes from a business /organisational psychology background. Her specialist areas of work include: leadership development and facilitation, transformational change and system integration and embedding, cultural and behavioural change for high performing teams, learning and development design and delivery, conflict management, collaborative working, workplace ways of working organisational design, executive coaching, and career development from graduate to senior levels.
After Steve Malkin's presentation, Chairman Chris Hines welcomed Client Directors of Mannaz, Nicky Thompson and Joakim Eriksson, to the stage. Nicky spoke to the importance of inspirational leadership and how we as individuals can take necessary steps towards overcoming the challenges we face. Following on, Nicki Clark OBE of UMi joined Steve and Nicky on a panel titled "Planet Friendly Business: Effective Strategies to Positively Impact the Planet".

Nicky manages global and local client accounts, and has led projects and programmes across the Pharmaceutical, Mining, Infrastructure, Construction, Rail, Real Estate, and Public Sector industries. Nicky has been on the Board for the Association for Business Psychology, is a member of Women in Mining, and has facilitated and presented talks at psychology, industry, and association events around human behaviour and business challenges. She is the UN Inner Development Goals (IDG) Hub lead for London and the UK, which is launching 2023-2024.
