Deborah O'Hanlon

Group Sustainability & Quality Manager at Henry Brothers Limited

I am the Group Sustainability and Quality Manager at Henry Brothers, proactively working to underpin and steer the business Net Zero Strategy, alongside our longstanding Sustainability and Environmental ethos. This includes working closely with our clients to support them to deliver on their Net Zero requirements, through our knowledge on designing and delivering these projects by collaborating with both our highly experienced inhouse teams, value and supply chains. Recently, we have successfully completed on 2 major projects for Net Zero and PassivHaus, namely Staffordshire Nursery for Staffordshire University and Sports Park Pavillion for Loughborough University. This is testament to how we as a Contractor can grasp the intricacies behind designing and delivering on these types of projects for the built environment. Working alongside industry peers, I am part of the Construction Employers Federation Sustainability leadership team for Northern Ireland, which aims to navigate the intricacies and opportunities that Net Zero presents to the Construction industry. More recently we were awarded the prestigious accolade of The Kings Award for Enterprise for Sustainable Development.
